An inside view of Katrina’s house.

My pet, Katrina, is happy. VERY happy. Because she loves her wonderful house that is filled with a LOT of stuff. Some rooms don’t have much, and they are pretty empty. I’m still working on some of them. I would like to tell you that there are SIX rooms in the house. I will be showing all of them, but I can’t guarantee that they are finished! When I update them, I would be happy to post them on here.

This is my pet’s living room. The Dark blue couch adds a  very warm touch to the room but contrasts with the orange chair. Their contrast actually brings more attention to the room, making the room more appealing. Notice the strawberry rug contrasting with the green carpet. This is also appealing. The entertainment center can be easily decorated with plenty of trophies to show your many achievements. Instead of getting another table, I like to place my laptop in one of the shelves. I also like placing my cell phone in one of the other shelves, so it can act as my actual phone. (In the future, I might be buying another phone, and I will move the cell phone somewhere else) The rest of the “placements” were random. You can basically add some junk on those shelves, and Ta-da! You’ve created a masterpiece.

This is the kitchen/dining room.

This would probably be one of my favorite rooms, because of the complex decorating and warm feeling. Now, let me tell you, this was NOT easy to create! It took me two weeks, over 15,000 coins, and four accounts! I had always wanted a stunning kitchen…one that would bring a lot of compliments to me, and one that would really shine! I have to admit, this is actually worse than most kitchens I’ve seen, but it’s good for now. I’ve placed a bunch of kitchen decor items on top of the counter, to give it a casual look. I’ve used some simple shelves for excess stuff, to make the room feel full-ish. Not to mention the somewhat appealing fruit bowl on top of one of the shelves! It took me forever to arrange, because some of the fruits didn’t show up. The salt and pepper shakers don’t look too appealing on that shelf, because it is very plain and it doesn’t show very much detail. However I hung a chalkboard right next to it, because it is a big item that will certainly draw attention. My favorite part of the kitchen is the dining room section. It adds a really, really warm feeling, and it will make any pet feel like they’re at a five-star restauraunt. Actually, I did steal the idea from a five-star restauraunt, and when I walked into that restauraunt, I noticed how they hung up aprons and mittens and signs. I liked it, and you would never believe it. That sunday, I went to check out the new updates, and guess what I found? An apron with matching oven mittens.  And pictures of fruits right next to it. I had to buy it, and I hung it up in my kitchen. Finally to top it all off, I bought a dining table. For a casual look, I set an apple, a candle, and a teacup on it, just to make it seem like Katrina was in the middle of a meal:

This is Katrina’s bedroom.

I wasn’t too creative with this one, because I wanted to finish this room, and move on to my bathroom.  But I couldn’t just leave it so empty-ish so I decided to make it a little more appealing to the eye. First off, I stopped by the gadget store to buy some letters (K, A, T, R, I,N, A.) to spell out my pet’s wonderful name. Obviously that wasn’t enough for the room, so I saved up for a nice pink bed. The red hearts wallpaper seemed a little too…Sissy. But it was valentine’s day at the time, and hearts were “in”. Ever since then, I couldn’t break away from the hearts! They seemed so lovely, and I just couldn’t bare to tear them apart. After that, I needed a closet of some sort, so of course I bought a cute pink  wardrobe thingy, and I also bought a mirror to match. I needed a casual look again, because it seemed too extravagant, so I just took out my pet’s brush and placed it on top of the mirror’s makeup drawer. It was still february, and there was a heart’s window for sale. I thought it would match with the wallpaper, so I just said “what the heck” and I bought one. It matched perfectly with the background! Later on, I was just toying around with a mystery box, and I got a balloon. It was in the shape of a heart, so I thought it would match with everything else in the bedroom. Well….it didn’t match, but it did contrast, making it somewhat appealing. Two months rushed by. It was easter, and my pet was running through the trees. All of a sudden, an egg popped out. I was astonished so I kept going. Another one! Then another, and another, and so on! I kept going until, there weren’t any more eggs. The trees were dry and I couldn’t grab another egg! I just told my friends that there were eggs in the trees, and they went for the eggs. I didn’t know what to do with the eggs I had, so I just bought some new shelves, and hung them above my bed. It contrasted, but it contrasted WAY too much. I wanted to take it off, but first I asked a couple of my friends if it looked ok. They said that they liked it, and that the contrast was pretty nice, so it’s been there ever since.

This is the bathroom.

This room is relatively empty. I would have added more to it, but there was nothing to add. I didn’t need two sinks or two toilets, or two showers. I stopped by the luxury store, and they did have a jacuzzi, which would have been a pretty sweet addition to the bathroom, but I nearly fainted when I saw the price. Anyway, I didn’t want to make this room too extravagant.  I started out with a simple toilet. It was 800 coins, and at the time, that was a lot of money to me. So I wanted a shower. I got a shower, but it took me a while. Finally I wanted a sink. There were sinks in many different colors, but the shower and the toilet were both white, so I bought the sink in white, too. Can you imagine that? Only three items in a bathroom? For some reason I thought that there were only supposed to be three items in a normal bathroom, but when I looked at what I had, I had realized that that wasn’t the case. So I ventured into my bathroom. I saw a toothbrush, some toothpaste, and soap, and bingo! I ran back to my laptop and bought some toothbrushes and toothpaste along with some soap. Later on there was a new item for sale. It was a toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap ALL COMBINED! It was a nice deal and it cost less than buying dental care and soap seperatley. I sold the old stuff for a good price and I replaced it with my new stuff. It looked pretty nice and I could hang it on the wall, but it added more negative space in the bathroom. That’s when I got to thinking. A bathroom can smell, so it needs….a fragarance! That’s when I bought a simple shelf along with a nice little flower. I hung it right above the toilet. A week later, there was a toilet paper roll for sale, so I got that as well, and hung it next to the toilet. Along with that, I bought a simple mirror, and a hand towel. Finally I played with the mystery boxes again, and got a nice mat, which I placed under the shower, so that when my pet hops out, it won’t drip water all over the floor.

This is my garden

This is the worst room in my pet’s house. It’s pretty empty, but I’m planning to add more to it. Once again I’m going for a very casual look, so I just dropped a hot dog and a steak on the garden table, so it looks like my pet just had a wild barbecue. Oops…wild was a bad choice of words. More like, BORING! Other than that, everything else is pretty straight forward. There is a giant mushroom, and two other plants, just to create the “garden mood”.

This is SUPPOSED to be an oceanside terrace. Yes, I realize that it is very very crappy, but it is still in it’s building stage.

Ok I have to give credit to Soyon on this one. One of her friends had created an oceanside terrace, that looked really cool! I thought I would create one for Katrina’s house. So I got to work. I needed to used four account again, because I wanted this to be done in ONE day, and there is no way that I could earn 4,000 coins in one day, unless I use a cheat or a hack. But I’m a sincere person, and I don’t cheat! So I got to work. Started out with some crappy floorboards. I thought it would give a “bridge” look, but it just gave a “crappily built terrace” look. I am planning to replace those. I saw some black cookie jars, and used those along with some dark choc shelves to create the terrace. After doing that, I just added a chair. Not very creative, I know, but I’ll improve it!

Well you’ve seen all of the rooms now, so hopefully you may have gotten some ideas for decorating your house!

I love your house! =D I’d change the wallpaper in your bedroom though, it sort of clashes with everything. How about the burgundy wallpaper? It only costs 250 coins! =D

Also, your oceanside terrace is not at all crappy =] Why not add the sun sticker from the Garden store?

      Dear Melanie,

That’s true, the wallpaper does clash a bit, I’m planning to change it into something a bit more subtle.

Also, my oceanside terrace has been transformed into a beach. I haven’t told anyone yet, I’m planning to make a post about it in the near future.
